Concert
Songs and dances
Nantes (44)
A programme full of grace, spice and flavour, with music and songs composed by the great masters of the French Renaissance.
This programme presents songs and dances of Renaissance France, from the reign of Louis XII (1462-1515) to that of Henry II (1519-1559).
Performed in an intimate context, in limited company, in the fine abodes of the bourgeoisie, at court, or even outdoors in gardens and bowers, these songs and dances take us back to that happy age of the French Renaissance, to the Loire Valley and its chateaux of Amboise, Chinon, Chenonceaux, Chambord…
